UX Research
We run UX research for your web and mobile products: interviews, usability tests and analytics reviews that show what to fix or build next.
What is UX research?
UX research is the work of learning how real people use a product, through interviews, usability tests, analytics and surveys, so design decisions rest on evidence. Agnotic Technologies runs UX research for web and mobile products and turns the findings into ranked recommendations our designers and engineers can build.
User Behavior Analysis
Analytics, heatmaps and journey flows reviewed to show where users drop off or get stuck.
Usability Testing
People who match your users try real tasks while we watch where they hesitate or fail, on web and mobile.
Persona Development
Personas built from interview and analytics data, so design decisions start from real users rather than guesses.
A/B Testing
Two designs tested on live traffic against one measure agreed before the test starts.

How would we run usability testing on a SaaS product?
We recruit people who match your users, give them real tasks such as finding a report or changing a setting, and record where they hesitate or fail.
Findings are ranked by how often they occurred and how badly they block the task, each with a recommended fix. We agree the measures, such as task completion rate, with you before testing starts.

How do we use A/B testing to choose between designs?
We test one change at a time against the current design, with the success measure and the sample size agreed before the test starts.
When the test ends, we report the result and what it means for the design, including when the difference is too small to act on.
Which guidance shapes our UX research?
Short facts from W3C guidance that shape how we run research with users, each linked to its primary source.
W3C guidance says that involving users with disabilities in evaluation cannot on its own show that a website is accessible, so user evaluation should be combined with checking conformance to WCAG.
