Engineering Evidence for Sprinto Healthcare Compliance
Your compliance platform is set up, but its controls stay open until the product itself produces the evidence. Agnotic Technologies builds access reviews, audit logs, change records and backup tests into your healthcare product, then connects them to a compliance automation platform such as Sprinto.

What engineering evidence does Sprinto healthcare compliance need?
Sprinto healthcare compliance work depends on evidence from the product itself: access reviews, audit logs, change records, a vendor and BAA list, and tested backups. Agnotic Technologies builds those controls into your healthcare product and connects its systems to the compliance automation platform, so the evidence is produced by the software rather than assembled by hand.
Which evidence must your product produce?
A compliance automation platform reads evidence from the systems you connect to it. These are the eight items we make sure a healthcare product produces, accurately and in a form the platform can read. We confirm each connector and evidence format with the vendor at scoping.
Access reviews
Who can reach ePHI, by role, exported from your identity provider and the product's own admin roles, with leavers removed. HIPAA asks for access authorization and termination procedures (45 CFR 164.308(a)(3) and (a)(4)).
Audit logging
Product logs of who viewed or changed which record and when, kept tamper-evident. The Security Rule requires audit controls and regular review of activity records (45 CFR 164.312(b) and 164.308(a)(1)(ii)(D)).
Change management
Every production change traced from ticket to pull request, review, test run and deploy, so the platform can show each change was approved.
Vendor and BAA list
Every vendor that touches PHI, with its BAA status, hosting region and the data it receives. HIPAA requires business associate contracts for these vendors (45 CFR 164.308(b)).
Backups and restore tests
Automated backups of ePHI with scheduled restore tests and recorded results. HIPAA requires a data backup plan and a disaster recovery plan (45 CFR 164.308(a)(7)).
Encryption settings
Encryption for storage, databases and transport, exported as configuration the platform can read rather than as screenshots.
Vulnerability and dependency scans
Scan results from the build pipeline and cloud account, with each fix linked to its ticket.
Risk analysis inputs
A system inventory and data-flow map that feed your documented risk analysis, which the Security Rule requires (45 CFR 164.308(a)(1)(ii)(A)).

View AllHow does Agnotic wire your product into the platform?
Four steps. The platform tracks the controls; we make sure the product and its systems can prove them.
Map controls to systems
For each control the platform tracks, we name the system that proves it: cloud account, identity provider, code repository, ticketing or the product database.
Close gaps in the product
We build what is missing in the software itself: audit events, role exports, backup jobs and restore tests.
Connect and check evidence
We use the platform's own connectors where they exist, or export evidence in the format the vendor documents, then check every control reads correctly.
Keep it current
Evidence checks run in the release pipeline, so a new service, vendor or role shows up before an audit does.
