UI/UX Design
We research, design and test web and mobile interfaces, from wireframes to a design system your engineers can build from, with WCAG 2.2 accessibility built in.
What is UI/UX design?
UI/UX design is the work of shaping how a product looks and how it feels to use: user research, information architecture, wireframes, interface design and usability testing. Agnotic Technologies designs web and mobile products for startups and enterprises, and because our designers sit with our engineers, designs turn into accessible, working software.
User research
Interviews, analytics review and task analysis that show how people actually use the product.
Wireframes and prototypes
User flows, wireframes and clickable prototypes that test structure before visual design.
Interface and design systems
Visual design and reusable components that keep every screen consistent and easy to build.
Usability and accessibility testing
Tests with real users and WCAG 2.2 checks before handoff to engineering.
Real-Time Projects

How do we run a UI/UX design project?
Research first, then designs tested with real users before any production code is written.
Scoping call
We agree the users, the journeys that matter most and what the first phase must prove.
Research
Interviews, analytics and a review of the current product, summarized into the problems to solve.
Wireframes and prototypes
Flows and clickable prototypes, tested with real users and refined.
Visual design and design system
Screens and reusable components, checked against WCAG 2.2.
Handoff and build support
Specs and components handed to engineers, with designers available during the build.

Which accessibility standards shape our designs?
Short facts we design web and mobile interfaces around, each linked to its primary source.
WCAG 2.2 is the W3C Recommendation commonly used as the technical benchmark for accessible web and mobile interfaces.
Source: W3CWCAG 2.2 added nine success criteria, including 2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum) at Level AA, which asks for pointer targets of at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels, with listed exceptions.
