Type 1 diabetes management
Real-time glucose and alerts for intensive management.
We build continuous glucose monitoring apps on Dexcom and Abbott FreeStyle Libre data — real-time trends, glance-able glucose UX, and safe alerting — backed by HIPAA-ready pipelines and FHIR-native modeling.
Trusted by global innovators

A continuous glucose monitor generates a reading every few minutes, all day. The product challenge is turning that firehose into something a person with diabetes can act on in a glance — a current value, a trend arrow, time-in-range, and alerts that warn without crying wolf. The data challenge is ingesting it reliably from Dexcom and Abbott FreeStyle Libre without gaps.
Dexcom exposes data through its developer API and real-time share mechanisms; Abbott's FreeStyle Libre data is available through LibreView and its LibreLinkUp sharing pathway. We build the ingestion for both, handle calibration and unit conventions (mg/dL and mmol/L), and design a glucose UX that stays safe and legible under real-world conditions.
What it is
A CGM app takes the continuous stream from a glucose sensor and turns it into a clear picture: where glucose is now, where it's heading, how much of the day is in range, and when to act. For people with diabetes and their care teams, that clarity is the product.
We build the ingestion from Dexcom and Abbott FreeStyle Libre, the analytics for trends and time-in-range, safe alerting, and caregiver sharing — all modeled to FHIR so the data is usable clinically, not just visually.
See how Dexcom and FreeStyle Libre feeds flow into a normalized glucose model powering trends, time-in-range, and alerts.

Reliable glucose data and a UX designed for split-second decisions.
Ingestion from the Dexcom developer API and real-time share pathways, with EGV (estimated glucose value) handling, trend direction, and sensor session awareness.
FreeStyle Libre data through LibreView and the LibreLinkUp sharing pathway, normalized to the same glucose model as Dexcom so the app is source-agnostic.
Current value, trend arrows, and a time-in-range view designed for a two-second read, with color and typography that stay legible for low-vision and on-the-go use.
Urgent-low, low, high, and rate-of-change alerts tuned to reduce fatigue, with predictive warnings and clear escalation — safety-critical logic held to a high bar.
Readings normalized to FHIR R4 Observation with LOINC glucose coding and mg/dL / mmol/L unit handling, so data flows into care, analytics, and clinician review.
Where it runs
Real-time glucose and alerts for intensive management.
Trend-based coaching and lifestyle feedback.
Population glucose views for care teams.
CGM-driven virtual care and DTx experiences.
Remote follower views for pediatric and elder care.
CGM as a signal in broader wellness and nutrition products.
CGM value is decided in the two seconds a user glances at the screen and the instant an urgent-low fires. We build for both.

Standards we build against
Because CGM alerting is safety-critical, we design the data reliability and UX safety together from the start.
We map Dexcom and FreeStyle Libre data sources, define the glucose model and units, and design the glance-able UX and alert taxonomy.
Dexcom and Libre integrations with gap handling, sensor-session awareness, and normalization to a single glucose model.
Time-in-range analytics, alert logic, and follower/caregiver sharing, validated against real glucose patterns.
FHIR write-back for clinician dashboards, reporting, and a phased launch with monitoring on data freshness.
Related proof of compliant delivery: for Lera Health we turned continuous biomarker data into personalized, compliant guidance — the same discipline in data quality and patient UX that a safe CGM experience requires.

Glucose apps are safety-critical products. We build them with the care that demands.
Alert logic and data reliability engineered to a high bar, because a missed low is not a normal bug.
Dexcom and FreeStyle Libre normalized to one model so your product isn't locked to a single sensor.
Glance-able, accessible interfaces designed for real decisions, not dashboards to admire.
Standards-based glucose data that flows into clinician review and analytics without rework.
