Challenge
Replayed webhooks create duplicates
Agnotic approach
Signature verification plus idempotency keys so a re-delivered payload never double-writes.
We integrate the Terra API — a multi-wearable aggregator that connects hundreds of devices and apps through one normalized interface. Real aggregation engineering: user-connection flows, webhooks, and PGHD-to-FHIR pipelines, not just a hello-world call.
Trusted by global innovators

Terra is a unified wearable-and-health-data API: instead of integrating Garmin, Fitbit, Oura, Whoop, Apple Health, and dozens more one at a time, you integrate Terra once and it normalizes activity, body, daily, sleep, and nutrition data into a consistent schema. Terra uses a widget or SDK user-connection flow, webhook delivery for new data, and REST endpoints for historical backfill. The normalized model is powerful, but its data categories and provider-specific gaps need to be understood.
As with any aggregator, success is downstream: verifying webhook signatures, processing deliveries idempotently, backfilling history without double-counting, and mapping Terra's normalized payloads into FHIR Observations your platform can trust. We build that pipeline so one Terra integration reliably powers a broad device footprint without per-provider maintenance.
See how we turn a single Terra connection into a clean, consented, multi-wearable pipeline.

We build against Terra's connection flow, webhooks, and normalized data model.
The Terra widget/SDK user-connection flow, provider linking, and connection-status handling wired end to end.
Terra's activity, body, daily, sleep, and nutrition categories mapped into your schema.
Signature-verified webhook receivers with idempotent processing and replay safety.
Normalized payloads mapped to FHIR R4 Observation with LOINC codes and UCUM units.
REST-based backfill of data predating the connection, de-duplicated against the live stream.

Signature-verified webhooks, backfill, de-duplication, and the normalized-to-FHIR mapping.
Production go-live with webhook-delivery and connection-health dashboards.
Aggregator table
Terra normalizes providers into a small set of categories.
| Category | Contains | Typical use | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Activity | Workouts, steps, HR | Fitness & engagement | Rich per-workout detail. |
| Daily | Daily summaries | Trends & dashboards | Good for longitudinal views. |
| Sleep | Sleep stages | Recovery & wellness | Provider coverage varies. |
| Body | Weight, HR, glucose | Vitals & RPM | Overlaps with device categories. |
| Nutrition | Meals & macros | Coaching apps | Provider-dependent. |
Provider coverage differs per category; we verify which providers supply the data you actually need.
